Houston, TX — September 19, 2025 — FlexTek, a leader in outsourced recruiting and workforce solutions, today announced the expansion of its partnership with TETRA Technologies, Inc., an energy services company with a broad footprint in oil and gas operations. Building on a relationship that began in 2021, FlexTek will now oversee nearly all of TETRA’s field and specialized recruiting needs, following a track record of proven results.

“Our partnership is built on reliability, data-driven results, and the agility to evolve our recruiting model as market needs shift — ensuring we consistently deliver the right talent at the right time,” – Brittany Butler, Manager of Talent at TETRA.

The partnership originally focused on non-exempt field roles, later expanding in January 2025 to include Midland, TETRA’s largest and most complex site. With the latest agreement, FlexTek’s scope now covers specialized and higher-skill positions under a tiered recruiting model tailored specifically to the oil and gas industry.

“TETRA has truly been a partner, not just a client,” said Morgan Joel, Director of Outsourced Solutions at FlexTek. “Together, we’ve built a collaborative approach where challenges are met with solutions, not finger-pointing. The expansion of this partnership reflects the trust we’ve earned by delivering results and continually adapting to meet TETRA’s evolving workforce needs.”

Proven Results That Drove Expansion

FlexTek’s approach has transformed TETRA’s recruiting operations, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost control, and workforce stability:

  • Faster Hiring: Reduced time-to-fill and time-to-hire, enabling quicker onboarding of qualified candidates.
  • Cost Savings: Eliminated rogue staffing spend and standardized recruiting processes.
  • Recruiting Stability: While internal recruiters average just 1.8 years in tenure with annual turnover rates of 20–30%, FlexTek has maintained zero turnover in the recruiting roles dedicated to the TETRA account.
  • Year-over-Year Growth: 130% growth in number of hires so far in 2025 compared to 2024.

“Our partnership is built on reliability, data-driven results, and the agility to evolve our recruiting model as market needs shift — ensuring we consistently deliver the right talent at the right time,” said Brittany Butler, Manager of Talent at TETRA.

Expansion Aligned with New Workforce Initiatives

The expanded agreement introduces a tiered recruiting model based on salary bands, rather than role type, to better reflect the structure of oil and gas positions. FlexTek also provides bilingual recruiting support for Midland, balancing remote operations with onsite visits as needed.

“The expansion of this partnership reflects the trust we’ve earned by delivering results and continually adapting to meet TETRA’s evolving workforce needs,” said Morgan Joel, Director of Outsourced Solutions, FlexTek.

This new scope also includes support for a workforce scheduling initiative across all field operations, requiring rapid, high-volume hiring to meet tight deadlines. By consolidating nearly all recruiting through FlexTek, TETRA has created a single point of accountability and a scalable engine for workforce growth.
